TMNT Apocalypse- Prologue

War. War brings destruction. Death. Sickness and sorrow. War ended about twenty years ago. But it left unimaginable havoc. Way bigger and way worse than WWI and WWII together. People called it the apocalypse. God finally brought His wrath on Earth as He was disappointed with His children. And boom. World everyone knew did not exist anymore.
Bombs crumbled buildings down, brought greatest cities to their knees. Furious winds brought sand with them, covering what was left of dead cities. World like we saw in all them post-apocalyptic movies came to real. But was more chaotic, more deadly, more unfriendly for the survivors.
But let's leave the rest of world aside as it's not this interesting for us. Let's focus on one particular city. City, that never sleeps. You know which one? Exactly. New York City. Crushed and crumbled to it's foundations but there's one thing that makes this place different from other cities, tryin

CHAPTER ONE
It's been two years since they were on their own. Two years ago, in a stormy, awful night their father left them. He simply disappeared. Never left a letter, never said a word. He was just gone. All his stuff were still right there in the lair, but he himself was gone. Father and Master. Splinter vanished.
His sons held a a grudge. And even if oldest one of them, Leonardo tried to explain it to his younger brothers, tried to find a reason, to justify Splinter's missing, they wouldn't believe his words even for a second. Because he himself did not believe them at all. But he had to stay strong for his brothers. They all needed someone's guidance, but only one who could give it to them left them. So Leonardo had to take over.
